Oh no! I have just replied to the meet up for next Sat about possibly coming. I wondered where there wasn't much interest when there had been quite a lot initially. Now I probably know why. Guess I won't be going to that then.

Thanks for the heads up- you seem pretty sensible about this sort of thing and from what I've seen at shwatchalongs I trust your opinion (not that RL has let me join in much recently). Mind you, this kind of thing makes me think it's probably best to sit back and enjoy fandom from afar but not engage too deeply! It's a shame as I would love to enjoy a Sherlock watchalong in person with some other fans someday but probably not going to happen.
