Fandom is crap sometimes.

That link goes to the blog of James Moran, who helped plot everything that happened on Torchwood this week. Go read it my lovelies, and ask yourselves what we as fans are capable of doing to these people that are behind the shows we love. We can support them and make them feel good, but we also have the power to completely crush their spirits and their faith in us. Wow.

I feel seriously ashamed right now. I mean, WHAT THE HELL prompts these people to do stuff like that? Why the hell do they feel so entitled?

Gah, I think I need to take a break for a couple of days, this is so ridiculous.

Wow. Apparently some people need to look up the definition of "job". That's what that was. The writing, I mean. It doesn't matter what other people think, how invested they got or what the writer did to the characters - it's all just a job, when it comes to it. And even though Moran was involved in the plot and writing process all the way, he was most likely not the only one to see this through, maybe it wasn't even his idea from the beginning. Whatever it was or wasn't, some people need to get their heads screwed on properly. Seriously, wtf. I'm with you, I'm ashamed too.

It's such a shame, he was so open and talkative on his blog and answered every silly question that people had. I'm so sorry he's forced to abandon that kind of dialogue because of a few idiots who, as you say, need their heads screwed on properly. Poor guy.
